Practical week of the Laboratory for Dendrochronology at the University of Bamberg

From the 5th to the 9th of July 2021 students of the monumental heritage sciences at the University of Bamberg completed a practical week on the premises of the museum. Under the guidance of Dr. Dr.-Ing. Dipl. Holzwirt Thomas Eißing, they were able to put their knowledge into practice. Samples from the historic beams were used to determine the age of the wood in the dendrochronology laboratory.

We would like to thank you very much for providing us with the results of your research into the history of the house.
